Alright, so it's St. Patty's Day, and the Church doesn't want people celebrating. Dunno why. It's a saint's holiday during Holy Week. I say it's the perfect time to celebrate! So I guess they're saying that it's okay to get use a religious holiday as an excuse to get stupid drunk, so long as it doesn't fall during one particular week? Is it just me, or does that smack of hypocracy?
But all that aside, it's a day for everyone to celebrate their actual or perceived Irish heritage. Being of that particular decent myself, I've often wondered at the how a country so full of common wisdom could have starved so badly because of the Great Potato Famine. A country on an island. Surrounded on all sides by an ocean. An ocean full of FISH! Oh well, let's all just celebrate and have fun today. Erin go bragh!

Okay, so Christmas has come and gone, and it went great. Li'l Will got some cool stuff (though honestly I think he'd rather play with the boxes and wrapping paper). Daddy got some cool stuff, and so did Mommy. And there were some gifts I was glad NOT to get. Here's one of them:
